Re-Caulking

 It is recommended to have caulking  re-done every 2 to 3 years. Having said that, caulking is really over used, is not top quality and improperly applied to be of any use.  This helps mold & bacteria grow!

  In bath and shower areas high quality grout should seal the edges between tile or stone and the floor. In a shower pan or tub surround. Caulking can be used to back up the grout joint for a more water proof seal.

  Usually the grout at the bottom edges fails due to harsh cleaning chemicals or just age. Caulking is then applied over the missing or    cracked grout to cover it up.             THIS DOES NOT WORK!

  In many cases what the area really needs is re-grouting along the lower edge, sealing of the grout and or a superior silicone caulk applied after the grout has cured. 

  A re-grout and caulking can be combined with a tile and stone cleaning or it can be a job in it self.

Re - Grouting 

  In many cases even a restoration cleaning cannot achieve the desired results so     re-grouting is recommended.

 With this process the old grout is removed  and new grout applied. At this time the grout color can be changed if  so desired.
                                                            We can also do a partial re-grout if a suitable color match can be found and even re-color the grout if necessary.
